Notes

David Lemm (b.1984, Scotland) is a visual artist based in Edinburgh. His research-led practice is primarily informed by particular environments, observed phenomena and speculative systems. Engaging with various techniques, he often manipulates found materials or reinterprets encountered objects to present nuanced or potential narratives. Lemm’s process regularly entails site specific research and he has participated in several residency projects, including the Jon Schueler Scholarship at Sabhal Mor Ostaig, Skye, awarded in 2017. Recent commissions include public artworks in Lerwick, Edinburgh and London.
