My practice is driven by research and concepts of world-building, hybridity and pyhchogeography. I am achored in migrational experiences that are both personal and collective. Paying close attention to exploring origin and position, I am engaged with how this can transform communities, present alternative narratives and open up parallel histories. 

Hannan Jones is a graduate from Glasgow School of Art's Sculpture and Environmental Art department, in Hannan was a 2020-2021 Associate of Open School East. 

Working in an interdisciplinary approach Hannan has performed and exhibited across Australia, the Uk and Europe including Tate Lates at the Tate Modern, Sound Thought, Cafe Oto, REWIRE Festival, Glasgow Film Festival at tramway and ‘Artists who make Music, Musicians who make Art’ at Queens Park Railway Club.
