Born in Southampton, Roy Willingham is a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and Printmakers Council. He has exhibited in many group shows with the RE, PmC and SWE, open exhibitions in the UK, and internationally in Europe, Scandinavia, Japan, Russia, Canada, and USA.
In 2015 he was shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize and has been awarded various print prizes. His prize-winning book collaboration with Mike Sims now sits in the Bodleian Library Rare Books Collection. His work has been reproduced in numerous publications and his prints are held in public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Fitzwilliam and Ashmolean.
