L’opinione di Galloni. Un vino davvero unico, perché in questa particolare botte la fermentazione malolattica è stata un po’ tardiva, il che signifi ca che stiamo degustando un vino ancora un po’ acerbo. E tuttavia, dopo un po’ di tempo nel bicchiere, ha già iniziato ad amalgamarsi molto bene. Mi piace la sua lucentezza, la sua energia. Ha un profi lo di frutta più tendente al rosso e al viola, con una nota di arancia rossa in primo piano, pepe bianco, corpo medio, quindi non così potente come alcuni dei vini precedenti, soprattutto il 4, il 5 e il 6. Ma questo ha un ottimo equilibrio e sta iniziando ad amalgamarsi bene È uno di quei vini che ora assaggio in botte sperando di poterlo degustare un giorno in bottiglia, perché oggi è ancora a uno stadio embrionale, ma mostra già il suo potenziale.

Galloni’s opinion. This wine is really unique because in this particular barrel the malolactic fermentation was a little bit late, which means that we’re tasting the wine and it’s a little bit raw. Even so, with a little bit of time in the glass, this really started to come together really well. I like the brightness and the energy here. It’s more of a redder and a purplish kind of a fruit profi le with that sort of blood orange top note, white pepper, a medium bodied style, so not quite as powerful as some of the wines before it, most notably 4, 5 and 6. But the 9 has a really good balance and it’s really starting to come together well. And it’s one of those wines that I taste now in barrel and then I hope I can get the chance to taste it someday in the bottle, because it’s very embryonic today, but you can really see the potential.
