Melloney Harvey’s Sculpture practice predominantly uses the historic craft of fibrous plasterwork to create fragments of architectural details. These sculptures feature elaborate handcrafted decorative detailing; faces emerging from within them in the grotesque style and adorned with imagery of classical fruit displays the type you would find in Vanitas paintings of the 17th century.
