CS Moncrieff’s paintings are rhythmical visualisations, often exploring the relationship between femaleness and the land.  This Studio Sale is an opportunity to collect a variety of work and studies, as well as two from her Doves of Peace: anti war series.

Creativity abounds in the narratives she paints but also, often within the compositions themselves. 

“Forces interest me, whether it’s the force of a landscape, the wind, the light. I'm also interested in our cognitive dissonance with nature, how we Disnify it, herald it, yet at the same time destroy it. Colour is non naturalistic in my work, brushstrokes are fast and fluid."

Her work is showing in prominent spaces, including Hastings Museum, Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens and London’s The Shard. She's won numerous open calls, including the latest New Platform Art programme cohort through Parker Harris and a show in Paris. Alongside this, she was recently selected as a featured artist at the ING Discerning Eye at The Mall Galleries, London.

She’s on the Turps Banana correspondence course, a member of ArtCan, and continues to exhibit nationally and internationally. Three years into her professional career as a visual artist, she is broadly considered one to watch.
