"I have a history suffering from psychosis and have been so lucky to have the support of my family and doctors to help me through the hard times. I know how easy it is for someone with mental health problems but without the support to end up on the streets.

I wanted to paint a portrait to give a sense of how it feels during a manic episode. In the early 2000's was a street artist known for leaving thousands of paintings on cardboard around London. From 2006 onwards started exhibiting in Galleries developing a style of painting called Dimensionalism." - Adam Neate, 2019.
