We Lived in Singapore for five years. My Calendar of feasts and special days includes Chinese New Year, although my repertoire of food is not vast. Our most cherished meals were Yu Sheng with Henry, Steamboat with Jenny and Rico and brunch at Raffles , just the four of us.
Apparently lucky colours are orange, blue and black, although I also found another list that includes cerulean blue, fiery red, mint green and imperial yellow. My tiger is invented… based on lots of different tiger images I found. I was looking at a polar bear.

Notes
Daughter of a textile artist, I am obsessed with pattern and colour. I collect stuff that might inspire me and use the things I assemble to tell stories that might be true. Egg tempera allows me to layer colour, to find edges make different kinds of marks. It also dries quickly and that suits my temperament.
