UNICEF NextGen Los Angeles is delighted to welcome you to THE ART PARTY taking place on Wednesday, April 26 at Christie’s Auction House in Beverly Hills.
THE ART PARTY is a unique event that brings UNICEF and the art world together, educating and introducing the next generation of supporters to UNICEF’S lifesaving work. The goal of hosting this memorable event is to raise the necessary funds to benefit critical UNICEF programs that save and improve children’s lives around the world.
THE ART PARTY will display an array of art pieces by world-wide emerging female artists.
All artworks, curated by Arushi Kapoor, will be showcased online with 20 exhibited in-person at Christie’s; 3 of which will be a live auction.
UNICEF has a presence in 190 countries and territories, carrying out programs, fundraising, and advocacy to protect the rights of children and provide low-cost, high-impact, sustainable solutions. Since 1990, these efforts have helped slash child mortality rates by nearly half.

"This Knife Kills The Patriarchy" is a genesis piece of "Death by 1000 Cuts" project. Nadya Tolokonnikova uses repurposed metal foraged from an abandoned prison.
In this work, the artist uses the sewing skills she learned in prison while being forced to sew Russian uniforms into a skill she uses to amplify her own impact against against tyranny, harnessing her power.

Marta Solaz
A Los Angeles-based artist, originally from Spain where she studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Then she moved to Madrid where she had the opportunity to exhibit her work.
Marta has always been dedicated to Arts. She has worked her entire life as an actor but her inner Visual Artist always accompanied her, fascinated with how light plays with nature, objects, or faces on stage, on a set, or on life itself.
Amanda Flowers
Amanda Flowers is an oil pastel painter, working from the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
Lindsay Dawn
Lindsay devoted the first few years of her professional career to exploring different mediums, and styles in search of a way to communicate with the world around her.
It takes all of us working together to ensure that every child everywhere is healthy, educated, protected and respected.
