Joanna Wason has worked at the Leach Pottery for 34 years and is its longest-serving studio potter.  She was workshop assistant to Janet Leach, Bernard’s widow, for the last 10 years of her life and recently published a biography of Janet. The lip of this wheel-thrown porcelain pot has been slightly altered to impart a hint of a square shape.  The glaze, flowing in gentle rills down the surface of the bowl, was produced from processing common garden waste.
