Nico’s artwork is like arranging the angst and chaos of a southern Californian teens mind into conceptually layered pieces of work. Nico has an obsession with tattoo subculture and American history, which fuels these subjects to run rampant through Nico’s body of work. Focusing heavily on texture, Nico’s pieces are built layer after layer in an array of mediums. Nico thinks of these layers as the constructs of his mind transcribed onto canvas.
