Art Makes Lives Better

Jan Ormerod writes and illustrates books for babies and the very young such as 'Ten in a Bed' and 'Bend and Stretch'. Anna Nilsen is also an author/illustrator and devises games. Her more recent publications include 'The Artful Detective' for The National Gallery and 'The Amazing Adventures of Marco Polo'.

This picture was produced during 'The Big Draw' at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2003. The work is smudged as intended as part of its creation.
