This piece is inspired by the visceral imagery in Pretty on the Inside regarding the desire, if not the need to enter another person, to get inside them, to open them up. Starting at the mouth, the fingers are able to pry, explore, twist and lever open the entry to the inside of a person. It is aggressive but it is an act you would only perform on someone you were fascinated with.
