Notes

Michael Cox's renders Albuhera Close in his typically flattened perspective for the cover of Squid’s new EPTown Centre’.

The painting is of a small cul-de-sac in North London, and nods to the mundanity of British suburbia. The basic constituents that are most common in a contemporary landscape: house, road, hedge and lamp post here feature as integral parts to set a scene, as if for a stage drama.
