Ernesto Romano is an Italian artist living and working in London. Romano‘s works are digital or photographic prints, based on his own X-Rays. His art delicately celebrates the importance of both diversity and equality but above all the inclusiveness for all, which, says Romano “is what art should be - for everyone”. He has exhibited nationally and internationally.

Royal Book is the artist’s homage to the iconic UK First Class Stamp which features Her Majesty The Queen. This re-interpretation uses his own X- Ray to depict the Queen’s profile combined with the well-known 1st font used on the first class stamp. Frameless and contemporary, the glossiness of the perspex face enhances the colours of the image.
