We Ain't dED Yet (11/25)

"Although in Britain we seemingly live in an era of peace, war continues to affect the lives of millions. The sale of arms by Britain fuels war, and worse still are the attempts by arms manufacturers and dealers to legitimise themselves by seeking to fund universities." - Ed Hall

Ed Hall (b. 1944) is a British artist known for his textile and hand-painted banners for union and campaign marches and is considered Britain’s leading banner maker. They have been previously exhibited at the People’s History Museum, Manchester, Tate Britain, The Victoria & Albert Museum and include collaborations since the 1990’s with Turner-prize winner, Jeremy Deller. He has contributed banners to front large marches for Stop The War, Trade Unions, The Palestine Solidarity Campaign, CND, the Anti Nazi League and Unite against Facism.
