Terrence Higgins Trust - 2023, Timed Auction

British artist Tahnee Lonsdale graduated from the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. She has been short-listed for both the Dazed and Confused Emerging Artist Award and “100 Painters of Tomorrow.” Her work has been exhibited widely in the UK and internationally. 

Lonsdale’s abstract figurative paintings explore a dual narrative that conveys at once innately personal recollections and universal metaphors. She says: “My figures are protagonists of their own narratives. Stick Bearer alludes to the experience of finding one’s tribe in the world, represented by a strong and independent figure, dancing, and carrying and supporting loved ones through life’s journey.”
