Wither or Bloom is a juxtaposition between the words of the song ‘Babydoll’ that Rowan Alice was first drawn to, and the embodiment of female empowerment that flows through the veins of Pretty on the Inside. 

From negative male impact, draining vitality mentally and physically from the female form, against the uplifting and supportive nature of women united; Wither or Bloom represents women and can be seen in two ways. Melting down the page and disappearing, or growing up the page and appearing. It’s a contrast between growth and decline.
