Carla Murdoch
Carla Murdoch works as a full time production potter, Working from her garden studio, designing and throwing tableware. Carla worked as a Pottery and Sculpture Tutor at Lichfield College, leaving the role in 2018 after securing a space on the Yorkshire Artspace Ceramic starter programme.
This sculpture was made to loosen up from the repetition of throwing on the wheel

Hilda Allen
Hilda is a self-taught weaver. She is a qualified interior and graphic designer and worked in the creative industry for over 12 years. Working on events and websites, she became more unhappy with producing work to add to a throw away culture. Weaving enables Hilda to get some head space but it also feels like a primal practice to her, where her heart and hands are able to work together.
I aim to produce original, quality products designed to be treasured. I use wool as it is naturally resourced, renewable, easily recycled and biodegrades without any harm to the planet.

HoodMor
Born from lockdown conversations between two friends and ex colleagues, HoodMor is a collaboration between Libby Hood and Nicola Morland.
Their work is focused on creating functional homeware pieces with unique playful personalities.
Tilly Slight
Tilly Slight showcases hand thrown miniature ceramics and full size work made under the moniker Fifty Shapes of Clay. After being a member of Phoenix Pottery in Islington for many years, she began to experiment with how to make pottery possible at home during the covid UK national lockdown.
I hope every piece I make helps my sons to see the world as a beautiful place. My artwork is my journey to strengthen my soul. I would like to share them with you.

Noe Kuremoto is a ceramic artist who makes everything by hand using simple tools. She’s known for playful sculptural work that takes the form of ancient Japanese clay figurine.
Hodge Pots
London-based fashion stylist Nikki turned her hand to pottery as a way to stay creative and spread love to friends and family during 2020.
These delightful creations struck a chord with her Instagram followers when the world felt more than a little gloomy, spreading hope and beauty to the homes of their new owners.
Gerald Mak
Gerald Mak is an artist based in London. He recently completed his MA in Ceramics and Glass at Royal College of Art in 2020.
Working with clay has provided Gerald a tangible way to reflect on his evolving experiences and relationships.
Sasha Compton
Sasha Compton is a British Artist and Designer based in London, who explores the natural world around her using authentic production methods. Sasha transports viewers into a timeless world of Art by creating modern reinterpretations of classical concepts.
In today's world there is so much pressure to be perfect. My work is all about embracing the differences.

Diana Ng
Diana Ng is a designer and potter currently based her practice in the UK. Born in Hong Kong where she studied Pottery under Master Tsui Yun Chung, she later gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
With a heavy focus on surface painting and texture, my vivid ceramics evolve via collage and drawing, exploring themes around environment, humans and urban nature through intricate surface stories on clay.

Jiayao Peng
Jiayao Peng has been trained in Ceramic Art and Design in China and the UK. After working with clay for over 15 years, mainly focusing on sculptural works, Jiayao started bringing her form-driven ideas to collectable homeware objects.
Anja Hessler
Anja Hessler is a German-British artist and designer currently based in Ramsgate, UK.
She creates one-of-a-kind contemporary mobile sculptures and objects from metal, acrylic and wood.
I love the physical interaction and tactility of working with metal, how it responds to the rhythm of the body. The expression of my movement and state of my mind is all visible and makes each piece unique

Poppy Fuller Abbott
Poppy is a weaver and dyer, and is one of the Toast New Makers 2023. Her practice focuses on consciously sourced materials; sustainable yarns, and natural dyes, some of which are grown locally or foraged.
Yarns are carefully sourced and hand dyed using natural materials and innovative techniques.

Surrounded by buckets of PVA glue and stacks of newspapers, Emmely Elgersma uses her studio like a surreal kitchen, concocting wonky sculptures and wobbly objects that look good enough to eat (but probably don't taste very good).
The result is an exploration of what objects mean to us as human beings

Xenia Busalova lives and works in London where she graduated from the Royal College of Art and InnovationRCA.
After many years of independent art practice, numerous exhibitions including, but not limited, Royal Academy of Arts, fine art galleries and two international biennales she founded her brand of porcelain jewellery FARPHPORIA.
Daisy Tortuga
Daisy Tortuga is a multi disciplinary artist working mainly in tufted rugs and ceramic. She combines cathartic meaningful ideas with handmade tangible objects, discussing ideas of female identity, childhood nostalgia and the ready made.
Joseph Weisberg
Joseph Weisberg's wood sculptures are characterised by free forms and natural, flowing lines. Each sculpture is unique for its one-off hand carved design, and differing marbled grain pattern.
Spalted Beech patterns are individual to each piece of wood, leaving varied, delicate markings throughout the sculptures.
